ATHENS, NY One of the most anticipated boats of the year will be on hand, the all new Elco Powered, Hunter e36 Hybrid. Recently delivered to Sailtime Orange County in Newport Breach, CA. Chris Jester the Base Manager at Sailtime is excited to share an Environmentally friendly option for his customers. “Sailors enjoy the quiet and peace of sailing. But sometimes we have to turn on the motor. Our SailTime membership is very excited to have a quiet electric Elco motor with no diesel fumes.”

Boat show attendees will be able to see the Elco EP Motor system out of the water in action, and ask questions about their Electric technology.

The new Hunter e36 HYBRID features the all-new Elco E Power hybrid system, featuring the new Elco EP4000 AC electric motor. The E Power system includes an integrated network of high performance recharging options with a range of over 800 nautical miles at five knots cruising speed at a cost of eight cents per nautical mile when under battery power only. The Hunter e36 HYBRID follows the introduction of the award-winning Elco electric-powered Hunter e27 sailboat.
